This is the first example we are offering at auction a very rare Grateful Dead poster from 1969. The Dead were just gearing up to be one of the most prolific touring bands in history at this time. This show was rescheduled to April 20th because the band’s equipment was still in transit from their previous gig. 1960's Dead concert posters from super small venues such this are in top demand. A 1967 Dead poster reputed by the auctioneer to be for a show held 12/9/67 at Clark University realized $5225 on 9/10/15.

Condition Details – 100% Original with no restoration of any kind. Edges 100% complete with no nicks cuts or tears. Single tack hole in each corner and additional tack holes in the top right corner a 2 1/4” crease bottom edge a 1” crease above the shoulder of Jesus a 3” crease just inside the halo several finer creases in the bottom and top edges pencil notation on reverse.
