Greg Irons was one of the great-unsung heroes of the 1960’s psychedelic art scene. Irons was a master underground comix poster and tattoo artist. His style was perfect for each of those mediums. This was the artists first poster for the Fillmore series. The story was that Greg went to Bill Graham with a copy of a poster he had just created for the Western Front after seeing Irons work Bill allegedly gave him 24 hours to produce this poster. Not bad for a rush job huh?
This poster measures 13 15/16x 21 23/32”. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. The only flaw is the writing of” R4” on the back in light pencil.
