This poster being offered here is the official first edition merchandise version of one of the most desirable and valuable concert posters of all time. This poster was created by Darien house in 1969 to be sold at Jimi Hendrix Experience concerts in the US. The poster was produced in response to the overwhelming demand generated by the original concert poster. The originals were designed by Gunther Kieser for a series of Experience shows in Germany in 1968. This merchandise version has an incorrect date so as not to be confused with the original concert posters. Several bootleg editions have been manufactured using that same fictitious date. The original concert posters sell for five figure amounts and this Merchandise poster is valuable in its own right.
