This handbill announced the "Abolafia Cosmic Love-In" at the Village Theater in New York City, held over three days in May 1968. The event was held to support the presidential campaign of Louis Abolafia, a figure in the Greenwich Village art scene who ran multiple satirical political campaigns in the 1960s under such parties as the "Cosmic Love Party" and the "Love Ticket".
This event featured music from artists including the Blues Project and Ritchie Havens, with countercultural figures Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg making appearances as well. In the end, Louis Abella brought in around two million votes for President. We have never seen another example of this RARE artifact before!
