This RARE Jefferson Airplane original concert poster was produced for the band's appearance at California State College, Long Beach on November 9th, 1968. The poster was designed by artist Rick Ertag. The band had achieved a commercial breakthrough with their release "Surrealistic Pillow" the previous year, and their music began to consist of longer, more experimental psychedelic compositions. They had released their fourth LP, "Crown of Creation", just two months before this Tuscon show, which enjoyed commercial success. This scarce poster will likely NOT be made available at public auction again anytime soon! Back in 2021 an example reached $5,290.00 in another auction. The one you see here is the first we have ever handled.
Condition: Top right corner tip is missing, crease bottom right.
