Osiris Visions was a publishing company that was founded by Joe Boyd and Barry Miles. Boyd was an American record producer who introduced the world to the music of Pink Floyd, Fairport Convention, and Nick Drake, among others. Miles was an author who reflected on the London underground movement of the 1960s. Osiris published and distributed the Hapshash poster reprints, as well as other headshop and promo posters.
This beautiful poster was produced for Britain's first major cannabis reform demonstration, the "Legalise Pot" rally held at Hyde Park in London on July 16th, 1967. It was created by artist Mike McInnerney and is issue OA105 from the legendary Osiris Visions Series. These Osiris posters are some of the most cherished issues in the collectibles world! Few examples of this poster still remain available today in ANY condition, and they seldom surface in auctions for collectors.
