This rare, original handbill was produced to advertise The Beatles' performance at D.C. Stadium on August 15th, 1966. The stadium was later renamed RFK Stadium in 1969 in honor of Robert F Kennedy. This was the fourth stop on the historic band's last tour, and the band performed in D.C. for one night only in front of 32,164 fans. They were joined by The Cyrkle and the Ronettes.

The Beatles' touring experiences in 1966 were becoming increasingly stressful for the group. They were growing frustrated with live performance in general. This was due to the fact that neither they nor their audience could hear them play due to the high-volume screams of their hysterical fan base. This concert was held just ten days after the release of Revolver, and it was clear that the band was taking an exciting new direction with their recordings. They would give up live performing after this and focus solely on the studio, which adds further historical significance to this handbill.

When it comes to music memorabilia, most experts agree that there is The Beatles, and then everyone else! Don't wait to bid!
