This original Grande Ballroom poster is one of the rarest issues in the series, and it has NEVER appeared in our auction before! Gary Grimshaw designed it for the "Guerrilla Lovefare" benefit concert held at the venue on January 29th, 1967, featuring MC5, Spike Drivers, Livonia Tool & Die Co., and Detroit Edison White Light Band. The print run was minuscule, and it was printed on super-perishable newsprint, making an original example like this nearly impossible to locate in ANY condition. The Grande Ballroom was the epicenter of the 60s scene in the upper Midwest, and the artistic quality of the artworks rivals anything done out west. Don't miss your chance to bid on this piece!
Condition Details: Paper loss, tape, creases, pinholes.
