This original flyer was produced for the 1969 edition of the Berkeley Folk Festival, held at UC Berkeley in October of that year. This was the festival's 12th year, and the lineup included a variety of artists such as The Youngbloods, Sam Hinton, Doug Kershaw, Country Joe & The Fish, and many more. The Berkeley Folk Festival ran annually from 1958 to 1970, one of the first of its kind to exist on the West Coast. It predated the exceedingly popular Newport Folk Festival held on the East Coast by a year. This is the first time this flyer has appeared in our auction!
