This eye-appealing original 1967 poster is from the only live performance Hugh Masekela did at the historic Fillmore. Often referred to as the Father of South African Jazz, Hugh Masekela was a genius composer as well as a talented trumpet, trombone, and flugelhorn player. During his long successful career, he was nominated for a Grammy Award three times. This early poster is from the same era as his pop jazz hit Up Up and Away was released.
