This poster was produced by the Student Mobilization Committee in 1967 to promote a March on Washington, held on October 21st of that year. The committee was a nationwide organization led by students to end the war in Vietnam from 1966 to 1973. The image on this poster is a famous photograph of Vietnamese revolutionary Nguyễn Văn Trỗi right before he was executed in 1964. Anti-war posters are important countercultural artifacts from this era. We've never offered another example of this poster in our auction!
