This poster is one of the keys to the entire Avalon set and tops every collector list of most desirable and hardest to locate items. This poster holds unsurpassed historical significance as it is the very first time that the Grateful Dead were associated with the symbol of a Skull which would become the graphic identity of the band for decades to come.

This is a poster we previously auctioned off for $2887 11/16. It was NOT CGC graded at te time but cataloged as restored and it realized $2887.00 We sold another restored copy graded 9.0 by CGC for $3174 1/17.
