This rare original concert poster advertised The J. Geils Blues Band at the Boston Esplanade in September 1969. The design was created by artist Bob Driscoll. This is the FIRST example of this rare poster to appear in our auction! The J. Geils Band was one of the great bands of the 60s and 70s. Their hard blues styling featured the vocals of Peter Wolf and the blues harp prowess of Magic Dick Salwitz. This performance occurred early in the band's career, before they broke out nationally as the J. Geils Band. The Beacon Street Union and Quill were also in the lineup.
Condition: Discoloration bottom edge.
