1967 AOR-3.163 Grateful Dead Café Au Go Go New York Poster Extra Fine 65

The Cafe Au Go Go club in Greenwich Village has a long history throughout the 1960s, ranging from Lenny Bruce in 1964 through an endless array of well-known and popular musicians appearing there up until late 1970. The club also happened to be the first New York City concert venue to host the Grateful Dead. This poster was created for that run of shows, which ran from June 1st to June 10th, 1967. This is an incredibly rare piece that rarely shows up at public auction! This is only the second example we have ever come across in well over a decade.

Condition Details: Holes resulting in paper loss, creases, matte burn, tape and tape pulls.
