This original poster advertises Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) appearing at Selland Arena in Fresno during the spring of 1968. It features an image of a bird with Janis Joplin’s head, and if you didn’t know, the Grateful Dead’s "Bird Song" was written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter a couple of years later as a tribute right after her passing. Many collectors believe this is one of the great pieces of Janis concert art to EVER be created. Though we've offered both the handbill and tickets from this event a handful of times over the years, this is the FIRST TIME we are offering the POSTER, which is far rarer! Don't pass up this opportunity!
