Gary Grimshaw created this flyer to promote a benefit concert for John Sinclair at Union Ballroom in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on September 22nd, 1971. Performers included SRC, Catfish, Up, and Geyda. Two years prior, Sinclair was sentenced to ten years in prison for possession of marijuana. A protest movement led by prominent figures of the day ensued. Sinclair was eventually freed just a few months later, in December 1971.
