This cardboard poster announced Jethro Tull and White Snake appearing at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, California, on November 7th, 1980. Jethro Tull was touring in support of their thirteenth studio album, A. This poster was printed by Colby Poster.
The historic Colby Poster Printing Company produced promotional material between 1948 and 2012, and they became legendary for their signature fluorescent inks and bold all-caps typography, although none of the original staff had any formal design training. They were members of the letterpress union, the screen printers union, and the typesetters union.
