1977 Ry Cooder University of California San Diego Gym Poster Excellent 71

This poster announced Ry Cooder appearing at the University of California, San Diego Gym on January 16th, 1977. The legendary slide guitar player was noted early in his career for recording with acts like The Rolling Stones (on albums Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers), Little Feat, and Taj Mahal. He is named as one of the top ten American guitarists by Rolling Stone Magazine, and he still performs to this day. He had released his album Chicken Skin Music the year prior to this show, as noted on the poster.
