This beautiful cardboard poster was produced for Donovan's appearance at the Portland Memorial Coliseum on October 28th, 1971. Donovan was a Scottish-born folkie and an early favorite of the flower power scene. He enjoyed relative commercial success in the late sixties. Material from the Pacific Northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. Posters like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music-loving culture that produced them.
