This poster announced The Byrds and Doug Kershaw playing 3 nights at the Boston Tea Party in January 1970. The Byrds had released their eighth studio album, Ballad of Easy Rider, just two months beforehand. The title track, which had been co-written by Roger McGuinn and Bob Dylan, had been used as the theme song for the 1969 film, Easy Rider.
The historic Boston Tea Party was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967 to 1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
