This poster is signed by the artist, the late Wes Wilson!
We are extremely proud to feature this lot. Hunted profusely by collectors around the world, the BG-29 Original First Printings were produced in both color & black/white versions. The "Sound" was Bill Graham's own description of what was going on both musically and socially in San Francisco in October of 1966. Artist Wes Wilson used Bill's words as the inspiration for this classic Fillmore poster. The late great Wes Wilson's recent passing has spurred a massive interest in anything related to his artwork, a trend that's still in the earliest stages.
This poster is a perfect example of Wilson's art at the time. It is widely considered to be one of the finest Fillmore designs ever issued and totally encompasses the scene during this historic era.
