This original poster was produced for a 1968 Jimi Hendrix performance at Seattle Center Coliseum with support from Vanilla Fudge, Eire Apparent, and the Soft Machine.
On the early morning of September 6th, Jimi travels to his hometown of Seattle, Washington. In the afternoon, he spends time with his family and friends, many of whom he hadn’t seen for many months because of his rigorous tour schedule. That evening, The Experience performed Spanish Castle Magic, I Don’t Live Today, Red House, Star Spangled Banner and many more to a wild sold-out audience. Advanced collectors know that Pre-Concert First Printing materials featuring Jimi Hendrix are some of the most sought-after relics in the world. Though we've offered the handbill for this show on multiple occasions, the poster is even rarer and will likely not be made available in our auction anytime soon!
