We are thrilled to offer this EARLY Patti Smith original flyer in our auction! It was produced for her appearance at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven on May 6th 1975. The concert took place at the start of her early solo career, featuring poetry and music. Her debut solo album on Arista Records, "Horses," would be released a few months later in November!

As the popularity of punk rock grew, the Patti Smith Group continued touring the United States and Europe for the next couple of years. Smith suffered a neck injury while touring in 1977 and a year later released her commercial breakthrough “Easter,” including the successful single "Because the Night," which was co-written by Bruce Springsteen. She became a legendary music icon from those days on. This INCREDIBLE poster is from back BEFORE IT ALL started!
