This black and white poster is the first pre-concert original printing of this issue (PLEASE NOTE: the color photo on plate 4.150 in the Art of Rock Book is of the RP-2 second printing).
In the early days of Cain’s Ballroom, the venue showcased Western Swing Music. Purchased by investor Larry Shaeffer in 1976 and reopened in 1977, Cain’s was revamped to house new rock music. Punk Icons The Sex Pistols performed a legendary show there over 40 years ago on January 11th, and the concert inspired local Tulsa youths to form punk bands.
Concert posters from Cain's Ballroom are Cult Classics and are extremely rare and sought after by advanced collectors. We constantly receive requests for these with no way of meeting demand.
