This second-printing handbill offers the same great artwork as an original for a far lower price! This post-concert version was printed in 1991 has the small "Thanks for coming" note from Bill Graham added in the design as a commemorative after Bill Graham died. Also, the 1991 reprint is blank-backed.
This handbill was designed to advertise the opening night of the Fillmore East on March 8th, featuring Big Brother along with Tim Buckley and Albert King. Collectors regard this to be a Janis Joplin issue because her image is front & center in the picture and she was definitely the “star of the show” by 1968. Notice that the band photo was taken by Linda Eastman, the future wife of Beatle Paul McCartney.
