1974-Benefit for Mance Lipscomb–Ritz Theater-PAE Graded Mint 95

This poster was designed by Jim Franklin for a Mance Lipscomb benefit show. Mance was a legendary local blues guitarist and singer who had come up during the country blues revival of the 60’s. There were a number of benefit shows for him in 1974 to help raise money for his medical expenses after Mance had a stroke. This show was headlined by Bukka White the Delta blues singer and guitarist. One of many of Franklin’s great portraits of blues legends.This poster measures 17” x 11”. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. The only imperfection is a small dirt smudge. *****This poster is available for inspection at our gallery by appointment. *****
