Lollapalooza is an annual music festival started by Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction in 1991. It has since become one of the longest-running music festivals in the United States. From 1991 until 1997, Lollapalooza was a touring festival that booked dates across the U.S. and Canada. This poster announced a July 1992 date at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Performers included Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails, Ice-T, Butthole Surfers, and the Henry Rollins Band.
