This large-sized, rare promotional poster was created for the debut single by San Francisco’s own hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys. California Uber Alles was the group's first recording and was released in June 1979 on the Optional Music label. The lyrics are a pointed, satirical attack on California Governor Jerry Brown and are sung from his perspective, as an imaginary version of Brown outlines a hippie-fascist vision of America. The band's songwriting also led a major rebellion against much of what was happening during the Reagan years.

Condition Details: Factory folded into 1/8s. A three inch tear bottom edge, multiple creases and tears left edge, pinholes.
