This Byrds poster was produced for a 3-night run of shows in Boston in October 1970. Mylon LeFevre was in support. By fall of 1970, Gram Parsons had left the Byrds over a a dispute about a planned concert tour of South Africa that summer. The Byrds had occasionally experimented with country music previously, but 1970's Sweetheart of the Rodeo represented their fullest immersion into the genre up to that point in time. The historic Boston Tea Party was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
