This stunning image of guitar god Jimi Hendrix is one of the most powerful creations for this legendary musical hero. The late, great Detroit artist Gary Grimshaw rendered this piece for a 1968 Hendrix show at Detroit's Masonic Temple. No pre-concert posters were created for this event; they were only postcards! In 1991, the image was printed for the first time on a poster. Since it wasn't printed on a poster until after the concert, this print is designated as an RP-1 commemorative.
