This rare, original concert poster was produced for events at the legendary Ricky-Tick Club during its residency at The Plaza in Guildford, England. The Ricky Tick was an influential rhythm and blues club in the UK that hosted many of the region's most legendary classic bands, including The Rolling Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd. This particular poster announced American blues legends John Lee Hooker, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Jimmie Reed all making appearances in the Fall of 1964, with the reverse promoting Erroll Dixon, John Mayall, and Howlin' Wolf. We've never offered another example of this poster in our auction!
