The FD-26 is one of the undeniable stars of the 1960’s concert poster genre, and its place in history is well known. This classic Grateful Dead Family Dog issue for the Avalon Ballroom in 1966 has survived the test of time and is easily one of the most recognized images in all of Rock! Stanley Mouse created this stunning print on fine art paper in 2019, which he then hand-painted with vibrant rainbow colors with an airbrush.
The lot offered here is unique and allows new collectors to have a chance to acquire this classic image, one of the most popular 1960's concert poster images, in a beautiful large format size for a far lower price than the pre-concert original first FD-26 printings can realize when they surface. Best of all, Mouse personally airbrushed this one-of-a-kind lot and put a huge signature and doodle across the entire bottom of the print! Gorgeous!
