1966 AOR-2.327 Grateful Dead Bola Sete Mt Tamalpais Outdoor Theater Poster CGC 8.5

For this extremely scarce and popular fan-favorite Original Printing Concert Poster, artists Stanley Mouse and the late great Alton Kelley borrowed from pop culture once again -- enlisting Pooh and Piglet to advertise this free afternoon show at Mt Tamalpais Outdoor theater in 1966. It has been 5 years since we've auctioned another example of this rare CGC graded poster relic, so do not let this opportunity slip by.

This is the second state version (Still Original Pre-Concert First Printing) of this poster that replaces Joan Baez and Mimi Farina with Bola Sete. This version you see here (AOR-2.327 with Bola Sete) is much more scarce and valuable than the Joan Baez version. The concert was a benefit for the congressional campaign of antiwar candidate Phil Drath. Later that evening the Dead also performed at the Fillmore (BG-30).
