The Randy Tuten issue promotes a May 1971 musical performance by heavyweight boxing champion Joe Frazier and his band at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. This was just a few months after Frazier's historic victory over Muhammad Ali in the "Fight of the Century". Frazier had launched a second career as a soul singer, often touring with his band between his major fights. This was billed as his "only Bay Area appearance", and reportedly, the show was not well attended. This is the first time we've seen this poster in our auction!
