This Original First Printing poster is extremely difficult to find and we are thrilled to feature one in this auction! Created by artist Frank Bettencourt, this 1968 poster advertised Cream, Taj Mahal and James Cotton at the Earl Warren in Santa Barbara. The promoter for the historic Earl Warren was the late great Jim Salzer.
Due to their popularity when the original posters were produced, Salzer had them reprinted with slightly different coloring than the originals. (The second printing can be identified by the lack of the dark blue / black box around the word "Cream" and the lack of pink stripes throughout the bottom dress). However the one you see HERE is the RARE original first printing!
Condition: Pinholes, tears.
