Presenting this ULTRA RARE original poster featuring Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young from June 17th 1970 at the Seattle Center Coliseum! This rarity advertised THE Super Group of the Woodstock generation, Crosby Stills Nash and Young. The show was part of their 1970 US tour supporting the Deja Vu album and featured the core quartet with Calvin Samuels on bass and Johnny Barbata on drums (without original touring drummer Dallas Taylor or bassist Greg Reeves, who were dismissed earlier in the tour). We have never seen another example of this poster appear in our auctions!

The history of this quartet overflows with all the juicy elements of LA's Rock scene in the 60s. The powerful synergies of the bands members created some of the greatest music ever set against a backdrop of Sex, Drugs, Ego clashes and human drama. This is the stuff that makes great art. Deja Vu is one of those albums that just brought rock to a new level. Each member was forced to be reckoned with in their own right. Yet, it was Neil that added the x factor. His irascible nature and raw energy was the piece of grit that formed the pearl. For what it's worth, anyone interested in the blow by blow details of this wild ride would be advised to pick up a copy of David Browne's "Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Wild, Definitive Saga of Rock's Greatest Supergroup".
