This poster announced The Kinks appearing at Audi Max in Hamburg, Germany, on October 17th, 1978. The design is based on the cover art for their seventeenth studio album, Misfits, released in May 1978. The concert was part of the band's "Misfits Tour." The Kinks were among the British Invasion's most influential and entertaining groups. Their chart-topping hit “You Really Got Me” propelled them to great heights in a short time in 1964.
