Fats Domino was a pioneering figure in the birth of rock and roll. The New Orleans native brought the rich musical heritage of his hometown into the mainstream with hits like “Ain’t That a Shame,” “Blueberry Hill,” and “I’m Walkin”. By the mid-1950s, Domino was one of the first Black artists to achieve widespread crossover success, helping to break racial barriers in popular music. His influence can be heard in the music of The Beatles, Elvis Presley (who once called Domino “the real king of rock and roll”), and countless others. This RARE, CARDBOARD tour blank issue was produced to promote his performances sometime in the 1950s. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought types of concert memorabilia ever known.
