This poster was produced for Alice Cooper playing his "Welcome to My Nightmare" album at Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, on September 17th, 1975. The album inspired the Alice Cooper: The Nightmare TV special, the 1975 worldwide concert tour, and the 1976 concert film Welcome to My Nightmare. The ensuing tour was one of the most over-the-top excursions of that era. Most of LOU REED’s band joined Cooper for this record. Alice Cooper has played a significant role in shaping the sound and look of heavy metal for several decades and has been described as among the first artists to introduce horror imagery to rock and roll.
