This poster was produced for the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, appearing at the Ambassador Theatre in Washington, DC, for three nights in October 1967. The Butterfield Blues Band were innovators in the world of blues/rock and were at the top of their game in the late 1960s after the release of their first two recordings. The Chicago-based band played nearly all of the major festivals of the day and were frequent performers at the Fillmore.
