This poster announced the Virginia Music Festival, held at William & Mary University in Williamsburg in April 1973. The festival featured performances by John Prine. Richie Havens, Kris Kristofferson, Country Joe McDonald, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Linda Ronstadt, Earl Scruggs, Dave Van Ronk, and more. Notably, this was quite early in John Prine's career, and his name appears further down the list! A beautiful poster we've never seen in our auction before.
