This original handbill is a true miracle piece! This Bob Dylan show in New York on April 12, 1963, is widely considered his first major live performance and a pivotal moment in his career. A month after this show, Dylan released his second album, “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan,” which was a landmark record.

Early Bob Dylan material rarely sells at public auction, as Dylan pieces are almost always held back, primarily trading privately for some other major rarity instead of being sold for currency. For one to surface in this absolutely MUSEUM quality is almost unheard of, and when it does, collectors across the globe take notice.

This ultra-rare handbill features a striking black and white picture of Dylan with his guitar and harmonica, along with reviews and quotes from the New York Times, BBC Radio Times, and more. Archive records indicate around 900 people attended the concert, which didn’t even sell out.

If you are the type of disciplined collector that absolutely demands your acquisitions have each of the following: Top 5 legendary performer, Museum Quality condition, and historical significance, then this is the lot you should be focused on. A very special opportunity not to be missed!
