In late 1970, psychedelic rock legends Quicksilver Messenger Service recorded their 5th album, “What About Me”. Although artist Michael Cantrell produced the cover art, Capitol Records hired poster artist Randy Tuten to design the promotional material for the album release. Tuten brought to life this very scarce original promo card with a traditional feel, complementary colors, and beautiful lettering! This record would be the group’s last album with the talented piano player Nicky Hopkins in the lineup. As many Deadheads are already aware, Hopkins performed regularly with 1970s incarnations of the Jerry Garcia Band several years later!
