1973 Mimi Farina The Egress Vancouver Signed Shankaruk Poster Near Mint 89

This poster is signed by the artist, the late great Grant Shankaruk!

This original poster promoted a five-night run featuring Mimi Farina, a singer-songwriter and the younger sister of Joan Baez, at The Egress in Vancouver in July 1973. It was designed by the late great Grant Shankaruk. Grant created posters for many Vancouver clubs and bands. He also played bass in bands such as The Worst, The Surfdusters (heard on SpongeBob SquarePants), Thee Upper Crust and many others. He worked for years at Track Records and Collectors RPM where he was known as "the legendary Grant Shankaruk" for his encyclopedic knowledge of rock and roll records.
