This original poster announced Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks at The Egress in Vancouver, BC on April 9th, 1973. The design was created by the late great Vancouver poster artist Grant Shankaruk, who recently passed away in 2024. Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks were a celebrated American folk and jazz band that emerged in the late 1960s and gained prominence during the 1970s. This is the first time this poster is being offered in our auction!
