This poster is one of several made in advance for Marley and the Wailers' scheduled American leg of their 1977 Exodus Tour. After a stretch of 15 shows in Europe, Marley seriously aggravated an old toe injury during a football friendly game with French journalists. The injury was severe enough to cancel the final two shows in London, and then eventually the entirety of the US tour.
