This handbill announced the incredible lineup of The Kinks and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers appearing at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City on August 1st, 1978. The Kinks were among the British Invasion's most influential and entertaining groups. Their chart-topping hit “You Really Got Me” propelled them to great heights in a short time in 1964. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had only just formed two years prior when they released their self-titled first LP. They would go on to have a lengthy, successful career, creating some of the greatest rock songs of all time.
