This great-looking poster was produced for Quicksilver Messenger Service, Freedom Highway, and Bogus Thunder appearing at 769 N. Mathilda Ave in Sunnyvale, California on July 9th, 1967. Although they were not as commercially successful as some of their contemporaries, like Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service was integral to the start of the San Francisco sound. With their jazz and classical influences, as well as a strong folk background, the band created an individual, innovative sound. We've never seen another example of this poster in our auction, and this one is in MINT condition!
