Artist and photographer Billy Name is well known for being associated with Andy Warhol's Factory as its archivist throughout the 1960s. He is best known for transforming the Factory into its iconic “silver” space — covering the walls and furniture in aluminum foil and silver paint. His photographs from this period are some of the most vivid records of Warhol’s world. This lot features a print with a 1966 photograph by name featuring Warhol along with Factory regulars Mary Woronov, Nico, and Susan Bottomley.
