This large-sized flyer announced James Brown at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Columbus, Ohio on March 31st, 1966. Though his debut LP had been released less than a decade prior, Brown was already ten albums deep into his career. The ever prolific songwriter would release four more albums in 1966 alone, including "Mighty Instrumentals", "James Brown Plays New Breed (The Boo-Ga-Loo)", "James Brown Sings Christmas Songs" (his first Christmas album), and "Handful of Soul". It wasn't until the following decade that Brown earned his title of "Godfather of Soul". Brown continued performing for the next 40 years, up until his death in 2006.
